Whether you are already a patient or looking for a new doctor in the Hammersmith, West Kensington, Shepherd's Bush or North Fulham area we hope you will find the information on this website useful.  We aim to offer everyone in our care a high quality service and hope that this website helps you to get the best from the practice.  We are predominantly an NHS Practice, but we offer private GP medical services to those who wish to register as private patients. 

The Practice

This practice is a GP partnership. We have nine permanent  doctors (five female and four male) and two female  nurses.  Additionally, as we are a training practice we may have up to two GP Registrars with us at any given time.  David Wingfield, Anna Wilson, James Cavanagh and Kirsten Sugden are accredited GP trainers. 

We are a family practice committed to providing clinical excellence and good service to all our patients. Our purpose-built surgery has access and facilities for disabled patients. We work as a team with District Nurses, Health Visitors, Midwives, Psychiatric Nurses, Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Drug & Alcohol Link Workers.  We work closely with Imperial College in  teaching  undegraduate medical students and collaborate with them in research projects.  We provide GP services to Emmaus House, Acton, a drop-in centre for the homeless and to St Vincent's Care Home in Hammersmith.

Any person who lives within our catchment area may register with us. Please bring proof of identity and proof of address with you when you come to register.

Same Day Appointments - Urgent Care weekdays

All patients can talk to a GP over the telephone on the same day that they request an "urgent" consultation.  Between 09:00 and 12:00 and between 14:00 and 17:00, telephone requests are logged and a doctor returns these calls, in turn, in our urgent care service.  The doctor will ask you to come to the surgery if necessary.  YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE AN ON-THE-DAY APPOINTMENT IF YOU NEED URGENT CARE ON A WEEKDAY.  Saturday surgeries are for booked appointments only.  Go to Appointments for full details of our ON CALL APPOINTMENT SYSTEM.

Booking Appointments Ahead

Normally, you will be able to book an appointment up to one month ahead with any GP or nurse.  Please book appointments for pill checks and smears with a nurse and not with a doctor.
